2010 - ONE PNC PLAZA ENTRANCE CANOPIES - PITTSBURGH, PA

As part of an effort to create visual unity between new and old PNC Plaza buildings, PNC contracted Technique in the spring of 2010 to fabricate (2) entrance canopies for One PNC Plaza. In conjunction with PNC and Cenkner Engineering Associates, the canopies were designed and engineered to match canopies installed at the newly constructed Three PNC Plaza.

The canopies for One PNC were fabricated with an internal aluminum and steel framework clad in aluminum composite paneling. The paneling, painted medium bronze, matched One PNC’s existing metal framework. (8) downlights and (3) linear fixtures illuminate the ground below while a set of polished brass lettering adorn the nose of the canopy.
